We weren't sure on what we were expecting, but walking into our lodge that we rented over Memorial Day Weekend we were shocked! Everything in the lodge was perfect! Everything was clean from the inside out! Even the dishes provided were clean and ready-to-use. They even included a cookbook for meals inside and outside, highlighting the possibility of roasting s'mores in the firepit outside. 5/5 stars. Will be coming back next year.
When we arrived, we weren't impressed. We renteded the 'King Suite Loft' Lodge. However, upon arrival, they had put us down for the 'Standard 2 Queens'. We had to spend our first night in the Queen lodge, since they were about to close. The next day, we talked to them and they were super apologetic. They comped our first night and gave us a coupon for next time. And they helped move us into the right lodge. Bad first impression, but they fixed their mistake. 4/5 stars.
We rented the 'Norway Spruce' cottage for a girls' weekend. We were told that everything would be ready for us and the only things we had to bring was our clothes, personal items, and food. But when we got there, there was no dishes, the place looked ransacked, the bonfire pit was caked with ashes on the bottom. Overall disgusting. Nothing was as advertised. We left not even 10 minutes after arriving. Will not recommend. 0/5 stars.
City girl here! I have never been camping or spent a night outside in my life. However, I wanted to celebrate my 21st birthday up north so me and my 2 friends spent a night researching places and stumbled upon Up North Lodge. My god the experience was great! They answered every question we had, fulfilled on their promises to us, and got us the best cottage, the 'Quaking Aspen'. The view was amazing! Every morning, me and my friends got to see a variety of wildlife and the way the sky looked through the trees was incredible! Absolutely will be coming back! 5/5 stars.
Me and my parents take a monthly camping trip. Everytime, we try to book with a different company to see what they are like. Up North being the latest new camping company, we chose to go with them. Their lodge was spacious and clean. The bonfire pit was the highlight. We spent every night outside, sitting around the fire, and taking in Mother Nature's beauty. While we try to go with a new place everytime, we will be planning to come back soon. 5/5 stars.
